The Next Trillion Dollar Industry will be the Wellness Industry because the aging of the Baby-Boomers as Economist & Trend Forcaster Paul Zane Pilzer put it. He states in his book "The Wellness Revolution" that this industry which is the Wellness Industry is being spawned by breakthroughs in biology and cellular biochemistry." With the invention of the Electron Microscope, scientists could now see how the body works at the cellular level and what the body needs to function optimally. This is clearly what everyone is really looking for, especially the Baby-Boomers.

He also stated that here in the United States, we do not really have a Healthcare System or Healthcare Industry. He calls it the sickness care industry. Which is correct if you think about it. People don't normally become a customer of this industry until they become sick. Most people don't take care of their health until they get sick as well hence that the industry itself is REACTIVE.

However, he adds that the Next Big Industry will be Wellness. As people are starting to take proactive approaches into their own personal health. People voluntarily become a customer of this industry because that want to feel ever better, they want to perform better and they want to avoid the complications of bad health and become a customer of the Sickness Business.
